February Faves

I haven’t done a “favourite” post in so long so I thought I would hop back on the band wagon.

Soap and Glory, The Righteous Butter – My skin has been really dry these days so I have been slathering myself in this body butter to help. I love the smell of it and also how thick it is. It makes my skin super soft and smell amazing.

Batiste, Wild – I love my bed and as a result of that I love dry shampoo. I sometimes be too lazy to wash my hair in the morning, so a quick spray of dry shampoo works wonders for me. The smell of this reminds me of when I was a 2^nd year in secondary school.

MAC MSF , Pink Power – For a few months I neglected this MSF for some unknown reason. I love that it has a bronzer, blusher and highlight all in one. A quick sweep over all three colours warms uo my face and it makes it handy for me when I’m having a lazy day.

MUA lipgloss, Shade 5 – This baby pink lipgloss is a nice neutral colour that gives my lips a tiny hint of pinkness. Its easy to slick on over any lipstick, or even on its own.

Sally Hansen, Nail Varnish remover – Sally Hansen is the best nail varnish remover brand I have ever tried. I can use the smallest bit and it will get all my polish off. This one is the acetone free one, which is great if you like wearing falsies.

Paco Rabanne, Black XS – I bought this perfume on the 10^th of the month and I am half way through it already. I am so bad at describing smells but I love it so much and always get compliments.

That was quite a mish mash of products that I have been loving this past month. Have you tried any of my favourites? What do you think of them?

Shroom by MAC - I love this colour as a highlight when I have something dark going on all over the eyelid

All That Glitters by MAC - This is a lovely everyday all over the lid colour. I have been using this on its own a lot this past month

Strawberry Milk lipstick by NYX - A pale baby pink colour that doesn't make me look dead or silly

106 Lip Jam by GOSH - I bought this lip gloss not that long ago and I love it! It smells like bubblegum and is a lovely finish on the lips

Sweet Bronze ColorDefiner by Maybelline - I use this colour as a base for my eyeshadows but sometimes if I am in a rush I just use this on its own. It has a lovely colour pay off and stays put all day

Zero eyeliner by Urban Decay - This has been the eyeliner of choice this past month. Stays put all day and it is easy to blend out

Illuminating Moisture Cream by Superdrug - I use this moisturiser under my make up and it gives me a nice dewy look

Random Faves of the Month

Phil Smith Dry Shampoo- Smells amazing, works well and was on offer. What is there to not love?!

Off Your Face wipes by Soap and Glory - I got this at Christmas and I only opened them at the beginning of February. The wipes smell lovely and the textured cloth gets all the make up off and leaves my skin feeling clean

Anti- Snap by Redken - I bought this after watching Jennifer's video on Youtube and I decided I needed it in my life. This product makes my hair so soft and I think it does help my spilt ends. It also smells divine

January Joys

I am going to jump on the bandwagon and do a monthly favourites blog. As this is my first month blogging (time has flown), it is also my first monthly favourites so here goes...

Johnson Skincare- Wipes, Day Moisturiser and Night Moisturiser

I have been using these products for a while now and I love the way they make my skin feel. It feels soft after I use these products and when I wake up in the morning after applying the beautifully scented night moisturiser my skin is glowing and soft.

This month make-up wise there have been numerous products that I have been reaching for, but these are my favourite.

Korres Bronzing Powder 01 Sunglow Light (a)- This bronzer gives a natural glow to my face. It is matt and I think it is more on the orange side than the brown side. However saying that the orange tones are very flattering on the skin.

Accessorize Merged Blusher in 3 Pretty Pink(b) – Ever since I came across this beauty in Superdrug I have been pushing my MSF’s to the side. This blusher is a lovely highlight and only cost me around £6. The swatch is quite poor compared to how to turns out in real life. It has a really goldy-peachy-pinky sheen to it.

MUA lip gloss in shade 5 (c) - I picked this up one day as I was in a “I need to buy make-up mood” and couldn’t see anything that I actually needed. It is a simple everyday colour that is lovely on its own, but I prefer to layer it over any lipstick I have on that day. It is easy to whip out of your bag and just apply with no mirror.

MAC Tinted Lip Conditioner Fuchsia Fix (d)- I apply this at work at the time as my lips get so chapped. It smells great, it makes my lips soft and it adds a hint of colour. What more could I ask for?

This month I really have been loving my brows. I recently got them tinted and I love it, however I have a scar running through one eyebrow and sometimes I like to cover it up (sometimes I fill in around it and look like a bad-ass). My eyebrow pencil of choice this month has been 17 Eyebrow Shaper in Natural Brown (e). It comes with a handy wee brush attached to the lid and it is so easy to apply.

Not every day I feel like wearing eye shadow. On days like this I normally whip out my pen eyeliners, do a small cat eye type flick and that’s my eye make up done. My pen eye liners of choice lately are 17 Soft Liner in Soft Mocha (f) , Collection 2000 Extreme in Teal(g) and Rimmel Flash Liner in Flash Black (h). I find these easier to apply than gel or liquid liner and they stay put throughout the day.
