This is just a sneak peek at my current nail varnish collection.

I use the word "current" very loosely as it changes nearly every week. I am going to do separate posts on each of brand and I will also be doing swatches as soon as the nails wheels that I have ordered arrive.

Sticker Mania

While I was in my local chemist the other day I came across some nail stickers. I don’t think I have ever used since I passed the age of 12. I love the whole nail art thing but I am not talented enough for that. The stickers in my set came with dragonflys, flowers and stars.

Armed with a pink nail varish, my new flower stickers and a topcoat my nails turned out like this….

I have had so many comments on them. The stickers were only £1.99 for 3 sheets and I bought mine in Semi-Chem.

What do you think of nail art? Do you need to cheat and use stickers as well?

Star Gazer Polish

These swatches were requested by the lovely Zoe. I bought them on Wednesday and featured them in my “Shopping Spree” post.

I bought these polishes in New Look for £2.50 each and they are from the StarGazer brand...

I am bad at describing colours so bear with me…

(Please excuse the state of my nails and cuticles in these pictures. They look rank.)

The purple shade (509) I would say is a purple meets brown meets grey type of shade *to me anyway*. The pink shade (501) is a milky baby pink colour. These colours both apply lovely and dry really quickly. I am definitely on the look out for some more of these StarGazer polishes as they are cheap and cheerful.

Any shades you would recommend?!

Valentines Nails

In an attempt to get in the Valentines spirit I rooted through my nail varnish box and decided that I needed pink nails today. I then realised that nearly all my pinks are off the same shade. I have pinks of different variations but bubblegum pink would be my most popular.

I can’t get over the fact that these four nail varnishes are practically identical. What was I thinking?! I must have had some excuse at the time but I can’t think of them now. Saying as these all look exactly the same I would probably recommend the cheapest one which is the Collection 2000 Hot Looks one. They all apply evenly and don’t streak. Saying that, I have decided to paint my nails with the Essie one saying as it is newest *I really have no logic*

eBay made me do it...

I went eBay shopping...naughty me! However it didn't cause that much damage to my purse. I bought 6 nail varnishes from this seller. I have read about the seller from several blogs and decided to order some.

Some of these polishes I have been eyeing up for a while so I decided to bite the bullet and just order them. I haven't actually wore any of them yet but I can't wait to wear Mod About You. Just looking at them now I think I have some dupes in my collection. *oops*

Have you any suggestions for nail varnishes that I MUST have?!
